Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to KnowAbout Your Visit

At Dental Brothers, we want every patient to feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their care. Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about our dental services, insurance, payments, and what to expect at your visit.

Your FirstVisit

Your first visit is all about you — your comfort, your health, and your smile. Our friendly dental team will review your medical history, take any necessary x-rays, and perform a comprehensive exam. We’ll also discuss your dental goals and create a personalized treatment plan designed specifically for your needs.

A standard appointment that includes a full dental exam, x-rays, and professional cleaning usually takes about an hour. For new patients, your initial visit may be slightly longer so we can get to know you and your dental history.

Yes! We welcome families and children as young as 3 years old. Our team makes dental visits fun and comfortable for kids, helping them build healthy habits early. Parents are always welcome to stay with their child during the visit.

You’re not alone — many patients feel nervous about dental visits. At Dental Brothers, we offer a calm, caring environment and sedation options such as nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedation to ensure your visit is completely stress-free.

Insurance & PaymentOptions

We accept a wide variety of PPO dental insurance plans. Our Patient Care and Insurance Specialists are happy to help you verify your coverage, explain your benefits, and file claims on your behalf.

Absolutely. Once we have your insurance details, we’ll handle the paperwork for you. Our goal is to make the process simple and ensure you understand your coverage before treatment begins.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), cash, and debit cards.

Yes! We partner with CareCredit and LendingClub to offer flexible financing plans that make dental care more affordable. These plans feature quick approval, no annual fees, and low monthly payments so you can receive the care you need right away.

PreventativeDental Care

Regular cleanings remove plaque and tartar buildup that brushing and flossing can’t reach. This helps prevent cavities, gum disease, and bad breath — keeping your smile healthy and bright.

Most patients benefit from visiting every six months for a cleaning and exam. However, if you’re being treated for gum disease or another ongoing condition, your dentist may recommend more frequent visits.

A deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) is needed when plaque and bacteria have collected below the gumline, causing inflammation and bleeding. Treating this early helps prevent periodontal (gum) disease and protects your teeth from future damage.

Untreated gum disease can lead to gum recession, bone loss, and eventually tooth loss. It can also increase the risk of other health issues, such as heart disease and diabetes. Regular cleanings and early treatment are key to prevention.
